Two Busy Bees Special Event :: Brisbane Plant and Garden Expo Round Up - Ascot
Saturday 16th March to Sunday 17th March 2019 - Doomben Racecourse - Ascot - Brisbane - QLD - Australia
The Brisbane Plant and Garden Expo is Brisbane’s biggest bi-annual brightest and best value gardening event - a subtropical plant collector's paradise! With stalls, great things to purchase, guest speakers, rare plants, landscape inspiration and family fun.
We were not sure what to expect as this was our very first two day event. But the team at Brisbane Plant and Garden Expo had organised such a well run event, smooth bumping in / bumping out and checking in with all the stall holders during the day. We were in an area that was not getting much ventilation and they made it their mission to make sure we were cool by thoughtfully bringing in big portable fans. We brought along our full honey range and our tables were groaning under the weight of our full range ofraw honey, honeycomb in raw honey, creamed raw honey, honey chilli soy dressing, dijon honey mustard dressingand our bee friendly live display.
It was great meeting The Woodsmanteam for the first time and having this father and daughter team as our neighbours. The Woodsmanare urban harvesters of reclaimed timbers. They create beautiful dwellings for solitary native bees.
It was a fabulous but tiring two day event for Two Busy Bees Honey, we were very busy and it was really wonderfull to meet so many new people who purchased from our table.
A big warm thank you to everyone who stopped by during the two days and we'll be back with Brisbane Plant and Garden Expo on 5th - 6th October 2019.
Buy honey bees from well established Bee Farm :: Geebung, Brisbane.Do you need to purchase some honey bees? A warm hello from the bees and a father and daughter beekeeping team. Working together (full time) on one of the largest settled Bee Farms in suburban Brisbane, QLD, Australia (run by the smallest team).
How does a bee make honey?Nowhere in the world is there anything to compare with the incredible efficiency of the industry of the honeybee. Inside the beehive each bee has a special job to do and the whole process runs smoothly.
The history of Beekeeping - Evidence of honey foraging, honey being used for medicinal and spiritual purposes dating back thousands of years, has been found all over the world.
Delicious and nutritious, natural honey in plentiful supply. It can be found on my breakfast, in my herbal teas, on salads, and even on my skin. It’s an all-rounder!
We recently purchased a Nuc from Deborah and our bees are thriving in their new hive! Deborah has provided ongoing support which we're really grateful for as new beekeepers. Thank you!
The most pure and tastiest product I have sampled to date. I use it on everything, I mopped my floors, cleaned my carpets and even washed the dog with some of this pure gold. Amazing.
