Conditions of Use
Two Busy Bees and its affiliates provide our on line shopping services to you subject to the following conditions. If you visit or shop at Two Busy Bees Honey, you accept these conditions. Please read them carefully. In addition, when you use any current or future Two Busy Bees Honey on line shopping service or visit or purchase from any business affiliated with Two Busy Bees Honey, whether or not included in the Two Busy Bees Honey Web site, you also will be subject to the guidelines and conditions applicable to such service or business. By making an online purchase from Two Busy Bees Honey you agree that you have read and agreed with all the terms and conditions.
Ordering
We only accept orders for shipment to Australian based addresses and PO Boxes, due to quarantine regulations we are not permitted to post Two Busy Bees Honey to WA or Tasmania.
Once you place your order, we will review it and put it through for processing. If we notice any missing information or anticipate any issues, we will get in touch with you to ask further questions. Otherwise the order should be delivered within 7 - 10 working days but please accept there could be slight delays in deliveries currently due to COVID.
If you have ordered a Nuc or Hive from us we do our very best to ensure that you receive an extremely strong colony of bees. As this is a colony of insects and a natural product we can only estimate a day for delivery. If we decide that the hive is not quite strong enough to be delivered please expect a slight delay. Please be assured you are purchasing from professional beekeepers with many years of experience.
Please Note: Due to the work involved with producing a Nuc or Hive we do not accept cancellations or offer refunds once you have purchased your Nuc.
International Orders
We do not accept orders shipped to international addresses from our online shopping cart.
Price
Your payment is taken as you place your order so you will always be charged at the rate advertised at the time of ordering. All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD).
Product Delivery Restrictions
WA: Due to domestic quarantine restrictions, honey (runny or creamed) and honeycomb and beeswax products are prohibited from entering Western Australia. Any product that contains greater than 5% honey as an ingredient is prohibited. Unfortunately this means Two Busy Bees Honey is unable to go to WA.
TAS: Due to domestic quarantine restrictions, we cannot send honey, honeycomb or beeswax products into Tasmania.
Delivery
Postage is $12.00 and delivered to a single Australian mailing address (excluding WA and TAS)
As we are a small business we package and post out once a week on Friday. Orders placed after 3pm on Wednesday will go into the following allocated courier/postal run. We use Couriers Please or Australia Post (for PO and Locked Boxes) for delivery to all areas of Australia and aim to have your order delivered within 7 - 10 working days. To some regional parts of Australia, delivery can take longer.
As we are based in Brisbane we sometimes have to deal with extremes in weather, this causes delays in packing and delivery due to the capacity of our transport providers.
During busy periods, such as Christmas, and in the event of public holidays, delays in delivery can occur due to the capacity of our transport providers.
Please make sure that delivery address and post code are correct as we cannot be responsible for non delivery due to an incorrect address provided. Likewise in the event of extreme weather or other events out of our control (eg civil actions, delivery vehicle breakdown etc) we cannot be responsible for any delivery delays.
Payment
We accept payment online through Shopify by PayPal, Visa or MasterCard. Your payment is processed via a fully authorised Payment Service which ensures that all your information remains totally confidential.
Payment is taken as you place your order and if the payment does not authorise successfully, your order will not be successfully processed. Please check that you receive not only a confirmation of your order but also a confirmation of your payment by email. If you have not received one of these, your order may not be placed successfully.
Two Busy Bees Honey does not store nor process any Credit Card information.
Title
Two Busy Bees Honey retains all rights of ownership and possession of the goods until full payment has been received.
Cancellation
Two Busy Bees Honey reserves the right not to accept or to cancel any order once accepted, without penalty. You too may cancel an order (excluding Bee Farm Tours and Nucs) without penalty as long as we receive the notification five days prior to the order being dispatched. If you wish to cancel your order before it has sent out, you are free to do so. You will receive a refund a full refund if you have requested a refund before being logged in with the courier. If you have requested a refund after your order has been logged in with the courier, you will receive a refund less the postage costs.
Lost Packages
On the highly unusual and very rare occasion there can sometimes be delays with the delivery of your order due to unforeseen issues with the Courier Company. Every effort will be taken as quickly as possible to ensure that an investigation is commenced to locate your order. If your package is unable to be located after 7 - 10 days (from lodgement of investigation), you have the option of receiving a replacement or to be issued with a full refund.
Quality Concerns
Two Busy Bees Honey takes great pride in the quality and condition of our honey and honey products and it should reach you in the best possible condition. When you receive your order and if unfortunately it has been damaged in transit, please call us right away on 0405 685 750 or email deborahbatchelor@me.com and we will endeavour to address any concerns as soon as possible. Once we have received visual confirmation on the condition of your order we can issue you with a refund (less delivery cost) or send replacements.
Returns
Two Busy Bees Honey is committed to providing the best quality products to all our customers. We do not offer returns for change of mind or if you think that the postage has taken to long and you don't want it anymore. We do not offer refunds for change of mind or buyers remorse. We do not accept forced refunds or if the item you ordered has arrived for an event that is passed.
If your order has unfortunately been damaged in the delivery process please contact me on 0405 685 750 within 24 hours of receiving your order to discuss the issue.
We do not offer refunds under any circumstances after you have purchased a Nuc or Starter Hive from us. We do our very best to insure that you are successful in your journey with keeping bees and harvesting your own honey. Once you receive the bees from us they are under your care, supervision and responsibility.
Privacy & Your Information
We retain details necessary for successful fulfilment of your order and may use them for marketing purposes for example emailing or posting you information about seasonal offers. These include: name, address, telephone number and email address of sender, and name, address, telephone number and email address of recipient. We do not sell contact details to any other companies. We will never cold call you for marketing purposes. Credit card details are not retained by Two Busy Bees Honey after payment has been received.
