Looking to start your beekeeping journey with a Flow Hive? We are based in Geebung and offer thriving, healthy bee colonies to get you successfully started on your Beekeeping journey. As the largest settled bee farm in Brisbane, we provide strong, established bees ready to adapt to their new home. Our Happy Bees Silver Package includes not just the bees but also high-quality frames, professional delivery, seamless installation, and a hands-on tutorial to ensure your success. With years of beekeeping experience, we offer ongoing virtual support (till you put on your Flow Hive honey super box level), so you’re never alone in your beekeeping journey. Our bees are locally raised and adapted to thrive, giving you the best possible start for a productive, sustainable hive. Our service includes everything you need to get started - delivery, professional installation and a hands-on tutorial to ensure your hive thrives. We take the guesswork out of beekeeping, guiding you through the process with expert advice and ongoing support. With our carefully nurtured bees and comprehensive setup, you’ll be harvesting your own honey in no time!
Each of our established starter colonies has a larger number of bees than a traditional Nuc, a new season queen, frames fully covered in bees (European Honey Bees), and an ideal balance of brood, pollen and honey. Our Nucs / Starter Hives are: very well established, from a large permanent and settled apiary site with over 80 beehives, super strongly populated, disease-free, have a gentle temperament and a proven queen.
This Starter Hive Colony listing includes (seven frames in total):
- Six wooden frame strong starter colony including Queen Bee, nurse bees, field bees, worker bees and established brood, honey and pollen
- Two bonus frames of healthy brood, nurse bees, drones and worker bees

Delivery, location assessment and installation of your Nuc by us into your own Flow Hive box to ensure calm transfer and safe installation
- 1x 60 - 90 minutes (approx) tutorial of valuable hands-on beekeeping knowledge from a Master Beekeeper to set you on your exciting journey of keeping bees
- Virtual support for any questions about keeping bees, until it comes time to put on your Flow Hive honey super
Genetic strains include European Honey Bees ~ Italian and Caucasian
Please Note: This product is only available to purchase by Brisbane and surrounds based customers and includes delivery, calm transfer and safe installation into your own beehive. We deliver in a 20km radius from 4034 Geebung, if you are outside this delivery radius please contact me before purchasing. Due to the hours / work involved with establishing a hive of this size, we do not offer refunds for change of mind or change of circumstances. Please ensure that you have approvals in place if renting and if approval is required from council (specifically Moreton Bay Council).
